Pine Tree Clinic for Comprehensive Medicine
Valkion Activated Air

Pine Tree Clinic now offers a unique oxygen therapy. It is based upon technology that is now FDA approved. This therapy, which involves 15-20 minutes three times weekly to obtain good results, is being used increasingly at European holistic clinics and in private households.

The advantage of this therapy is that it is simple to use, involving only nasal canula oxygen tubing. With repeated use, it can achieve many of the results of more complicated intravenous oxygen therapies.

A description of the therapy, its research, and how to use it practically at Pine Tree Clinic, follows.

This machine imitates nature. It has an activation chamber, where an artificial light source acts together with a high efficiency heat- and light resistant ‘photosensitizer’. Through the work of an air pump, a stream of activated air is created. This can then be inhaled, with or without the aid of an inhalation mask or nasal canula. Our findings show that moist air is essential; thus every unit is equipped with a humidifier giving the activated air a humidity level of at least 85% (depending on the humidity and temperature of the ambient air).

The energy released through this machine has remarkable properties where it is absorbed by water molecules in the air. The effect on organisms incorporates a considerable reduction of the production of ‘free radicals’ –with all of the positive consequences of such a process. (This is one of the reasons as to why we tend to ‘feel better’ after a walk in a forest; especially when humidity is high.)

The length of treatment instances varies between individuals. Healthy persons may use the equipment during fifteen minutes per instance. For most beginners, however, a first session of fifteen minutes may be too long. Breathing activated air starts a detoxification process, which is sometimes too powerful for individuals with decreased immune efficiency. The detoxification should take place at a pace suitable for each individual. For persons suffering from oversensitivity to electricity, fluorescent light or TV screens, or an extensive toxic load such as resulting from amalgam fillings, it is recommended to begin slowly.

Initial reactions such as changed bowels, tiredness, itching or rashes, headaches or pain in unexpected places, or insomnia are sometimes experienced, and temporary. Usually, such side-effects may occur within the first week of the treatment, but have also been known to occur at later stages. Some persons do not experience any negative reactions, and feel an immediate improvement of their situation.

Detoxification is a necessary process. Drinking three to four liters of fluid per day (not coffee or tea) supports the process. Detoxification reactions can be completely avoided if enough fluid is taken in connection with the treatment.

Reaching an inhalation level of ten minute instances is essential. Treatment times exceeding twenty minutes are, according to our present knowledge, not necessary. Frequent treatment is more important; three sessions of ten minutes in one day produces a better result than one instance of thirty minutes.
