Cindy Holt was born in Syracuse, N.Y. and graduated from nursing school there. Cindy’s career in cardiac intensive care spanned 7 hospitals, a doctor’s office, and a home nursing experience. She was the nurse manager of the CCU at Pomona Valley Hospital for 16 years.

A series of events in hospital administration changes led her to another path, and she found massage therapy. After completing a Bachelor of Science in nursing, she finished the Eastern and Western massage programs at Mueller College in San Diego. She has also completed a program in lymph drainage massage, a training program in guided imagery, and the course work at Clayton College for doctor of naturopathy. She has owned her own massage business since 1999, worked for Visiting Nurses Association in Claremont CA as the hospice massage nurse, and volunteered for various agencies in different capacities, such as the American Red Cross.

Cindy believes the body has the ability to heal itself, and agrees with Florence Nightingale that the work of a nurse is to bring the patient into the best possible place for healing to occur. Cindy also believes in holistic nursing- that the body can’t be healed (whole) unless mind, body, and spirit are balanced. Through her work in hospice, massage in a medical pain clinic, and experiences with spiritual matters, Cindy firmly believes we have choices in how we heal, and the sanctioned medical community does not have all the answers we need in an ever changing world.is page is in the process of being completed.
