The Light Shield at Pine Tree Clinic is a curved device that emits both red and infrared frequencies. It may be placed at specific areas of the body to achieve maximum effect.

The red lasers penetrates about 2 mm. However, there can be light conduction in bone or fluid carrying tissues such as blood which takes the light deeper inside. Red light is also antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral.

The infrared light or laser penetrates about 2 inches (50 mm). Infrared light activates ATP production inside the cell, increases parasympathetic tone and decreases sympathetic tone. It acts as vasodilator in most tissues.

The “light shield” covers a large area and is used for general tissue healing (including the brain). It is great for healing the injured gut, back pain, liver, kidneys and the jaw. It was developed by Dr. Klinghardt in the late 1980’s for non-surgical facial rejuvenation, as an alternative to surgical face lifting (to avoid scar problems). It is also exceptional in veterinary medicine applications.
